The steps of the recipe:

1. Mix the soft butter, vanilla and sugar well until a smooth cream is obtained. Add the eggs, finely grated lime zest if desired, then the flour and mix. Then knead the dough with a wooden spoon, then by hand. Form a ball, film it and let it rest for 30 minutes in the refrigerator.

2. Preheat the oven to 180 ° C (th. 6). Prepare the baking sheet: butter and flour it, use non-stick spray or cover it with baking paper.

3. Roll out the dough with a rolling pin to a 5mm thick roll. Cut out hearts with your cookie cutter, make a hole with a smaller cookie cutter (heart-shaped or other) on half of the cookies. Arrange them on the baking sheet.

4. Bake for 8 minutes, watching the cooking, they should not color too much.

2 tbsp. orange juice
250 g ground almonds

1 electric mixer
1 rolling pin
Cookie cutters

The steps of the recipe:

1. Pour the egg whites into a bowl, beat them until stiff with an electric mixer, starting slowly, then gradually increasing the power. Gradually add the icing sugar and continue beating until the mixture is firm and smooth.

2. Reserve 4 large tablespoons of this meringue. Stir in the cinnamon, orange juice and ground almonds. Mix with a wooden spoon, then by hand, form a ball, film it and place it in the refrigerator for 2 hours.

3. Preheat the oven to 180 ° C (th. 6). Prepare the baking sheet: butter and flour it, use non-stick spray or cover it with baking paper.

4. Roll out the dough with a rolling pin to a 5mm thick roll. Cut out dough stars with your cookie cutters and arrange them on the baking sheet in the shape of a crown, placing a plate or a salad bowl in the center to follow the shape of the circle.

5. Spread the reserved meringue on the cookies with a small spoon or spatula. Bake for 10 minutes.

1 egg

100 g of sour hard candies

Equipment:

1 zester or 1 peeler
1 mortar
2 cookie cutters
1 rolling pin

The steps of the recipe:

1. Take the lemon zest, then finely chop it with a large knife.

2. Mix the soft butter and sugar well until a smooth cream is obtained. Add the egg yolk, flour, lemon zest, a few drops of juice and mix until it forms a ball. Film it and let it rest for 30 minutes in the refrigerator.

3. Meanwhile, grind the candies into powder with a hammer or in a mortar with a pestle, by color.
